All classes are free and held in the second floor classroom at the Main Library, 215 E. Third Street, Dayton, OH 45402. Advance registration is required. Please call (937) 463-BOOK (2665) and ask for "Computer Services" to sign up. You can search our News and Events page to find the dates and times of upcoming classes.
LEARNING TRACK 1: BASICS
Whether you have no experience or just need to brush up on your computer skills, this track is designed for you. Our basic series provides the foundation you'll need to be a confident computer user.

LEARNING TRACK 2: APPLIED
In this series, you will be able to apply the basic skills learned from Learning Track 1. Learn how to manage your email, navigate the internet, and more. To ensure a positive learning experience, it is recommended that you complete each corresponding course offered through Learning Track 1: Basics. Patrons with basic computer skills may find it best to start with this track.

LEARNING TRACK 3: IN ACTION
Now that you have applied your basic computer skills, continue with Learning Track 3: In Action. Patrons with intermediate skills may find it best to start at this track.

LEARNING TRACK 4: LIBRARY RESOURCES
The library makes available a number of databases to help everyone from the new parent looking for medical advice to small business owners looking for market information. This learning track offers a hands-on review of a variety of online resources available to you through the Dayton Metro Library website. Basic computer knowledge is recommended.
